Quick take

No Graffiti removes graffiti for councils, housing associations and businesses across Manchester and the North West. The work was good, but the business was hard to find online and too much depended on what the owner, Simon Tuke, knew. Palm rebuilt the website around local search, set up the Google Business Profile, created the company’s first sales materials and put operations and finance onto clear systems.

About the client

Visit No Graffiti ↗

No Graffiti is a specialist graffiti removal and prevention company owned by Simon Tuke. Its vans are based in Cheshire and its customers are mostly councils, housing associations and commercial property owners across Greater Manchester and the North West.

The challenge

Public sector buyers search online and compare suppliers before they pick up the phone. No Graffiti needed to look as professional online as it is on site, and the business needed to run without everything going through one person.

  • An old website that did not show up for local searches
  • No Google Business Profile bringing in calls from Maps
  • No sales materials to send after an enquiry
  • Pricing, client knowledge and processes held in people’s heads
  • No simple monthly view of cash and income by customer

What Palm did

Step 01

Website and local SEO

We designed and built a fast new website with a page for each service, each type of client and each area covered, plus quote forms that go straight to the office with spam protection.

Step 02

Google presence

We set up and verified the Google Business Profile as a service-area business, with a local Manchester phone number and consistent details everywhere.

Step 03

Sales materials

We created the company’s first enquiry packs and a short deck for discovery calls with council estate managers.

Step 04

Operations and finance

We wrote an onboarding pack and procedures for a new operations manager, set up enquiry tracking and built a monthly cash-flow and income report from the bank statements.

What changed

  • A modern website built around how councils and local businesses search
  • A verified Google Business Profile for Manchester and the North West
  • Professional packs to send after every enquiry
  • Written procedures, so new staff can get up to speed without the owner
  • Clear monthly figures on cash and which customers bring in the income

Lessons for other owners

Specialist contractors often win work on reputation, then lose it to competitors who are simply easier to find and easier to buy from. A clear website, a strong Google profile and a pack you can send the same day make you the safe choice.

Try thisBuild a page for every service and every town you cover. It is the simplest way for local customers, and Google, to find you.
